(Brenda has just arrived at Sonny's apartment. She met Harry for the first time when he was on his way out.)

Brenda: Hi. Lois and I put together the budget for the Puerto Rico concert; we need you to sign it. (pause) Do I remember you mentioning Harry to me?

Sonny: That's what keeps our relationship exciting, sweetheart: one surprise after another.

(He kisses her, then she kisses him. There's an ad break. In the next scene, Sonny signs the papers.)

Sonny: The Corinthos seal of approval.

Brenda: Do you realize that this is the first time we're going on a trip together?

Sonny: What about Washington, D.C.?

Brenda: We weren't...well, you know.

Sonny: We weren't when we left, but we were when we got there.

Brenda: Sonny, this is different.

Sonny: Yeah, I know. If I remember right, we had quite a fight, and I plan on making this one perfect.

Brenda: Perfect?

Sonny: We are booked in one of the best suites in one of the world's greatest resorts. A hell of a casino, dancing to sultry Carribean music (he takes her hand and starts dancing with her) and a concert that's gonna turn that town inside out.

Brenda: Is this optimism that I'm hearing right now?

Sonny: Yeah?

Brenda: Yeah.

Sonny: Well maybe it's because I like where my life is right now, and where it's going, and especially where it's going with you.

(They kiss passionately.)
