Is the pressure off becuase you won last year?
"Oh, yeah (laughs). I just truly wanted to win an Emmy. The nomination is always a big deal to me because the actors are voting from watching your work. Of course, you want to win, but now that I have, I just want to have a good time this year."
What scenes did you submit?
"I submitted a tape where Sonny is going through a breakdown. There are scenes where he's fighting with Jason and then Alexis. And then at the end of the show, Sonny breaks down with Carly on the sofa."
What do you think about your co-stars' nominations?
"It's a great year for the show. I am extremely proud. Tamara [Braun, Carly] and Nancy [Lee Grahn, Alexis] are wonderful actresses. Both deserve it. Also Tony [Geary, Luke], Alicia [Leigh Willis, Courtney], Rick [Hearst, RIc], Scott [Clifton, Dillion] and Chat [Brannon, ex-Zander]...it's awesome."
